Updated February 22, 2022, by Michael Llewellyn: Thanks to the latest patch, Cyberpunk 2077 has found its way into the top of gaming news outlets again. Only this time the news is positive as the game is not only running better than ever but the long-awaited PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions are finally available. The patch has brought with it a range of improvements to make sure it runs as expected and the developers have even included some nice loot and upgrades for players to use in the game.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, there have not been any additional shotguns added to Cyberpunk 2077 via DLC, but that doesn't mean players should forget about the most powerful close-range crowd controllers in the game. Thanks to the patch, enemy artificial intelligence has been increased making it easier for V to get caught and pinned down by larger groups of assailants. This is when using a shotgun becomes invaluable to the player. This list has been updated to include more gun stats providing the player with more information about the unique shotguns Cyberpunk 2077 has to offer.

The Importance Of Shotguns

Even though shotguns aren't suited for players that like to use a stealthy approach, there will be times when V will inevitably get caught by his enemies. This is the situation when using a shotgun becomes perfect for the job.

Even the regular shotguns can assist V in cutting through large crowds of enemies that are now working more intelligently since the game was patched into its 1.5 version. Even when one prefers strategy to brutality, it is a good idea to keep a power weapon at V's disposal.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
