Since the gameplay demo showcasing character creation and open-world exploration for CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 launched, fans of the upcoming action RPG have been clamoring for more. Developers have been answering a variety of questions since the launch of the demo, and recently, two key details were revealed. Via different mediums for questioning, developers stated that there was not a constant companion system and that multiple apartments could be purchased.

To be precise, Cyberpunk 2077 does not have a feature where the protagonist, V, can always be accompanied by a companion, such as in Skyrim or Dragon Age. However, based on player choice, there are missions where V can be accompanied by a single person or even a group. Some of these missions, per the choice of the player, can still end up with V going it alone.

As the developer stated, companions in Cyberpunk 2077 depend on "if the story calls for it." Moreover, another developed on Facebook confirmed that players can purchase multiple apartments. It's likely to work in a manner similar to purchasing houses and apartments in Grand Theft Auto. Check it out below:

Hopefully, more news concerning Cyberpunk 2077 continues to develop in the coming days, as many are likely ready to get their hands on CD Projekt Red's latest title. However, there has been some indication that the game will not release for a number of years. Of course, that remains to be seen, but something as ambitious as this title is likely worth the wait.

That doesn't prevent more information being revealed about the game, though, as the latest reveals from CD Projekt Red include a photo mode and a customizable HUD. Whenever the game does launch, it's likely these small details contribute to the overall success of the game, so players may continue expecting great things from Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 currently lacks an official release date but is expected to launch for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
