CD Projekt Red’s massive RPG Cyberpunk 2077 is just a few months away, and the popular studio has been doing everything it can to build hype for the official release. That hype-building includes Night City Wire events where the developers dive into the many aspects of Cyberpunk 2077, and this month’s event is just around the corner.

The next Night City Wire event for the two-time Gamescom Best of Show winner Cyberpunk 2077 will take place on September 18th. CD Projekt Red confirmed the date as well as a 6 PM CEST start time for the event on the official Cyberpunk Twitter account. The tweet also featured a short six second teaser that gives fans an idea of what to expect from this month’s showcase, and the primary focus seems to be on the numerous gangs of Night City.

While the previous Night City Wire event focused on Cyberpunk’s intricate lifepaths system, the September 18th Night City Wire will give fans a look at the many gangs that fill Cyberpunk’s world. The short clip in the tweet shows the gangs, opening with the muscled-up Animals. The vehicle-loving Aldecados come next, followed by the red-loving Maelstrom and entirely female Moxes.

The clip continues with screenshots of the patriotic 6th Street and Yakuza-inspired Tyger Claws before showing off the fancy Valentinos, creepy Voodoo, and deadly Wraiths. Clearly, there are plenty of gangs within the futuristic Night City, and the short teaser indicates plenty of enemy variety in the much-anticipated game. If each gang uses its own lineup of the many different weapons in Cyberpunk, that enemy variety will only be increased further.

The announcement also promises a behind the scenes look at the game’s soundtrack and a tour around Night City, both of which are certainly worth showing off given the insane amount of money put into Cyberpunk’s development. How deep the tour goes is unclear, but it should be interesting nonetheless. CD Projekt Red seems determined to deliver on the years of hype that has built up around the game after its numerous delays, with the game’s massive budget and free DLC being clear examples of their focus on creating a well-received game.

Speaking of the game’s free DLC, CD Projekt Red recently promised that Cyberpunk’s post-launch content will be revealed soon. While fans will likely have to wait until October’s Night City Wire to see the game’s DLC roadmap, they should have plenty of new trailers to hold them over after the upcoming September 18th event.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be available November 13th on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. PlayStation 5, Stadia, and Xbox Series X upgrades will also be available.
