Major Cyberpunk 2077 news could be coming in June, it has been revealed. Developer CD Projekt RED has been sharing more information about the game, such as the corporation reveals, but this could be the bigger announcement that fans have been expecting.

In an article, IGN, which has announced a Summer of Gaming event to take the place of the canceled E3 2020, confirms that CD Projekt RED will be part of its programming. The publication says that "CD Projekt Red will be bringing Cyberpunk 2077 to the show in June," but doesn't confirm how the game will be featured. Summer of Gaming will offer publisher presentations, developer interviews, and gameplay.

The thing that most Cyberpunk 2077 fans will want to see is new gameplay. Fans were able to create a video of new Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay from a Q&A video that CD Projekt RED posted last year, but many want a much longer gameplay video though sharing a look at more of Night City's areas, the game's loot system, and the game's NPCs.

Fans' excitement about the game has only gone up after a Cyberpunk 2077 rating teased some of the game's mature content. Fans should expect a lot of violence, bad language, and nudity from the game. This just confirms that Cyberpunk 2077 will be as gritty, raw, and real as fans have been asking for and many would like to see a bit of that in the game's next gameplay video.

The event could also give fans a way to get some of their other, big Cyberpunk 2077 questions answered. CD Projekt RED has only teased the Cyberpunk 2077 loot system, confirming that there will be various things for players to find, pick up, and use. However, trailers have mostly been about the story and NPCs such as Johnny Silverhand, who is played by Keanu Reeves. Features like loot will also be a big part of the game and fans want to know more.

It may be unclear what CD Projekt RED is going to reveal at the event, but it's unlikely to be an announcement of another Cyberpunk 2077 delay. After delaying the game from April to September, CD Projekt RED has confirmed that the game is now being tested. This means that the game is nearly ready for the release and the developer probably won't have to change its release date again.

Cyberpunk 2077 launches on September 17, 2020 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
