Cyberpunk 2077 has been in development for years, but there is still very little we know about the ambitious open world RPG from CD Projekt Red. However, a new rumor has potentially revealed one of the locations players will be able to explore in the game.

According to GamePressure, which cites an unnamed inside source, Cyberpunk 2077 will let players travel to the moon for a "fragment of the game." Apparently CD Projekt Red's Cracow studio is working on this particular aspect of the game.

Whether or not we can believe this bit of information remains to be seen, however. The same publication reported that Cyberpunk 2077 will be a first-person game, as opposed to the first/third-person experience previously promised by CD Projekt Red. So until CD Projekt Red reveals a moon level itself or offers any other concrete details about Cyberpunk 2077, fans should take these rumors with a grain of salt.

Luckily the wait for more details on Cyberpunk 2077 shouldn't be a long one. We already know CD Projekt Red will be at E3 this year, and so it would make sense for the studio to show off its biggest in-development game. However, it remains to be seen if Cyberpunk 2077 will be shown during one of the big E3 press conferences hosted by Microsoft and Sony, or if it will have its own separate presentation.

A Polish publication named GRYOnline previously reported that Cyberpunk 2077 will have a significant presence at E3 2018. According to GRYOnline, the game will be featured in one of the press conferences (indicating that it won't have its own, separate presentation), and there will be a playable demo as well. The report by GamePressure echoes those claims, but adds that the playable demo will only be shown to journalists and not shared with the general public.

At this point, it's hard to say if any of this information about Cyberpunk 2077 is accurate or not. However, we should learn more information once E3 2018 rolls around in June.
