When it was launched in December 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 was considered a disaster by any standard. Fortunately, things have definitely improved over time, with it being in a much more playable state, at least on console. With CD Projekt Red celebrating 20 years last week, and the developer discounting all its games, it's likely that more people are now getting to grips with the sci-fi open-world epic. Bugs aside, Night City is a huge place to explore, and some people decide to add even more content.

As seen by DSO Gaming, a user known as Kratoes has uploaded a custom add-on for Cyberpunk 2077 called "No-Tell Motel - Expanded." As the name suggests, the mod unlocks new areas of this particular location, especially in the upper floors. According to the mod page, there are now new interiors to the motel, as well as views "never seen before." While some images on Nexus Mods show some of the interiors, it's ultimately up to the player to install the modification and see exactly what's been added. .

For those who are less familiar with the game, No-Tell Motel is a shady location where V can romance the NPC Meredith Stout. The motel itself is located in the Kabuki region of Night City, and is known for being a place to go and engage in some unruly activities and shady deals. It does have a number of quests attached to it as well, such as The Heist.

This is also not the first mod for the game that Kratoes has made. Not long ago, they uploaded another, which adds a new explorable area to Cyberpunk 2077. Again, like the No-Tell Motel expansion, the mod description page doesn't give a whole lot away, so players may get surprised by what they see if they download the mods. Night City is already a pretty enormous place, with a lot to see and do. However, the modding community is simply awash with people who are keen to load the game with even more content. This goes for more than just CD Projekt Red's 2020 release.

On top of all these mods, Cyberpunk 2077 is due to get some DLC, which is set to release in 2023. Over the last year and a half, the developer has put a lot of effort into fixing the major problems that plagued the game when it first came out. Many would agree that things are a lot better now, but for some, the damage has already been done.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
