The Projectile Launch System is a powerful piece of cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077, and players can pick up a Rare variant of it fairly early in their playthroughs. That said, some fans may ultimately want to upgrade to a better version of Cyberpunk 2077's Projectile Launch System, and indeed it does come in Legendary form. For those players that are having some trouble tracking down the Legendary cyberware, this guide will provide full details on its location.

As is the case with much of the cyberware in Cyberpunk 2077, the Legendary Projectile Launch System must be purchased from a Ripperdoc. This time around it is the Ripperdoc in the Wellsprings area of Heywood that stocks the item, and the video that is featured below should help fans reach them quite easily. However, not every player will simply be able to walk up to this Cyberpunk 2077 NPC and collect the Legendary Projectile Launch System, as acquiring it requires quite a lot of Street Cred and money.

More specifically, players will need to have 45 Street Cred and 100,450 eurodollars before they can purchase the Legendary Projectile Launch System. This pushes the cyberware well into the realm of being an endgame item, with the Street Cred in particular acting as a significant barrier. While some players may also feel like the eddie requirement for the item is a bit steep, there are a variety of ways to earn unlimited money in Cyberpunk 2077 and trivialize the expenditure.

One of these money-making methods revolves around the 10-eurodollar sodas that can be purchased from the various vending machines in Cyberpunk 2077. Indeed, players that purchase these sodas, disassemble them, and sell the resulting common and uncommon components will net 44 eddies every time they complete the process. Of course, it would take quite a number of sodas to get enough money for the Legendary Projectile Launch System, and PC players that can automate things with a macro are advised to do so.

To note, the Ripperdoc in City Center (Downtown) can also sell the Legendary Projectile Launch System, giving Cyberpunk 2077 players an alternative source for the item if they need it. However, the requirements for obtaining the cyberware remain the same no matter where a player attempts to get it from. That could change, though, if a free Legendary Projectile Launch system is ultimately discovered in-game, but for now fans will need to put some time into character progression if they hope to pickup this item.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions coming in 2021.
