In September 2018, the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account replied to a Lady Gaga tweet posted by the singer and actress back in 2012. The decision to respond to such an old tweet prompted wild speculation from fans, who began to wonder whether Gaga and her music could cameo in the game.

While this speculation hasn't been officially addressed by Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt RED, a new report states that Lady Gaga will be joining the cast of the game. French publication ActuGaming cites anonymous sources who have revealed that the talented performer has visited CD Projekt RED, which is headquartered in Warsaw, Poland. The sources didn't state what Gaga was doing at the studio, but the publication speculates that she may have been taking part in a motion-capture session, to be featured in the game.

The sources state that some announcement about the Lady Gaga partnership will be made at E3 2019. CD Projekt RED has confirmed that it will be at the annual industry event, so fans know that some new Cyberpunk 2077 information will be coming. Announcing that an Oscar-winning actress is going to be featured in your game would be an E3-worthy reveal.

The report also says that fans can expect an announcement of the Cyberpunk 2077 release date during E3 2019. There have been lots of rumors about the game's release window, with fans wondering if the Valentine's Day art posted on Twitter was a hint at the release date. There have also been numerous leaks from retailers that suggest that the game will be released later in 2019.

Fans will also be hoping that CD Projekt RED uses E3 2019 to show off more gameplay footage of its hotly anticipated game. At Gamescom 2018, the developer released the entire 48-minute gameplay demo that it had been showing to media behind closed doors. While the footage was a work in progress, fans welcomed the video as it was the first time they'd ever gotten to see Cyberpunk 2077 in action.

Since that gameplay demo was released, CD Projekt RED has teased more about the game, from the verticality of its buildings to other NPC companions. Fans would be delighted to see any of that for themselves, and at E3 2019, the studio could deliver.

Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, but the game has yet to receive an official release date.
