Cyberpunk 2077 remains planned for release on December 20 after its most-recent delay. Yet there's an abundance of speculation and rumor regarding whether Cyberpunk 2077 could be delayed even further. CD Projekt Red has officially denied these rumors, but speculation continues to grow. Meanwhile, Friday morning CD Projekt Red announced that it will be holding its fifth Night City Wire broadcast for Cyberpunk 2077, which will air on Thursday, November 19 at noon ET.

The Night City Wire episode 5 announcement comes from the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account CD Projekt Red will be talking about Keanu Reeve's character Johnny Silverhand, and will also be sharing some of Cyberpunk 2077's music during the show. Beyond that, there's "a lot more" for CD Projekt Red to show, but those looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 will just have to wait to find out exactly what's in store.

Some Twitter users have replied to the Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire announcement asking about the show's date. November 19 is, for those unaware, the original date that Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to launch. "I remember something was going to be released on that day," is what one Twitter user noted. The official Cyberpunk 2077 account even replied, saying "FIFA." The company seems very aware that November 19 was the initial launch date for Cyberpunk 2077, which may or may not mean anything.

The elephant in the room remains unaddressed, however. Many of the Twitter replies question the possibility of Cyberpunk 2077 being delayed again. Up to this point, CD Projekt Red's official Cyberpunk 2077 account has not responded to these replies or even pointed to their previous denial. If there is going to be any news on this front, fans will likely have to wait until November 19 to get the official story. It won't happen in some Twitter replies.

Another Cyberpunk 2077 delay was first rumored when the insider account Tiffany Treadmore Inc hinted at the possibility on Twitter. The account said that Cyberpunk 2077 could be delayed out of 2020 entirely, pushed to 2021 instead. The Tiffany Treadmore Inc rumor is what prompted CD Projekt Red's official response denying another delay.

Regardless of whether another delay is in-store, another Night City Wire broadcast means even more exciting information about Cyberpunk 2077 ahead of launch. The past four Night City Wire presentations have been full of fun news and new gameplay. For fans anxious for Cyberpunk 2077's launch to finally arrive, watching the new Night City Wire episode on November 19 at noon ET is the next-best alternative.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases December 10 on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S support planned for the future.
