Despite the many problems that Cyberpunk 2077 has faced since its launch, there is arguably no denying that the world of Night City is interesting to explore. There are secrets hidden around just about every corner, from mysterious locations, to subtle nods to other games and franchises. While the inclusion of video game themed Easter eggs is perhaps to be expected though, there are one or two references that may come as a bit of a surprise to some players.

The frequency with which random floating objects can appear and the plethora of people and vehicles that can be seen walking or driving through seemingly solid walls has already led to many players joking about Harry Potter Easter eggs being in the game. It now appears that these glitches were just the tip of the iceberg though. As one player recently roamed the streets of Night City, they discovered some far more concrete evidence of a connection between the two franchises.

Reddit user thesailorscout happened to notice that one of the game's NPCs was randomly sprinting, and decided to follow them in order to find out where they were going. What they found was a concrete wall adorned with some Harry Potter inspired graffiti which pays homage to the Wizarding World's now famous Platform nine and three-quarters. Dubbed "Platform 69¾," the wall features a notice reading "Hit Here" and two skeletal hands pointing to a large patch of blood. Ironically, perhaps, it is one of the few walls in Cyberpunk 2077 that pedestrians cannot be seen walking through.

Although perhaps one of the most unexpected, this is just one of many Easter eggs that fans have discovered in Cyberpunk 2077. Influential Japanese game developer Hideo Kojima can be found drinking at a bar in one of the game's main mission quests, and one of the portable BB pods from Death Stranding can also be discovered in a side quest a little later on. There are several Easter eggs connected to CDPR's hugely popular The Witcher series too, including a Roach racing arcade game and a retro gaming magazine with Ciri on the cover.

Given the sheer size of Cyberpunk 2077's Night City and the care and attention that seems to have gone into its creation, there are likely plenty more Easter eggs still waiting to be discovered. Whether any more of them will be centered around children's books, however, seems somewhat unlikely; especially considering the game's "Mature" ESRB rating.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions coming later in 2021.
