Cyberpunk 2077 focuses heavily on character customization. Players can control every aspect of their character's aesthetics, and can unlock even more options in-game. Part of the beauty of Cyberpunk 2077, in fact, comes from the cyber mods that can be applied to enhance avatars. While some additions are passive and simple, others are unique and, at times, extremely odd or ineffective. One such mod, as a fan on Reddit has pointed out, is the grenade launcher attachment.

There have been many bizarre glitches in Cyberpunk 2077 that have impacted players, and some of them have clearly effected the title's weaponry. Though Cyberpunk has become much more polished than it was when it first released, there are still issues with parts of the title that can alter gameplay.

In a recent post, Reddit user makavelinow shows a video that highlights the problems with the grenade launcher arm. In it, they point out that the grenade-rocket component of the launcher never actually fires, but rather stays put in the cybernetic attachment. This makes it feel as though the aiming and outcomes from using the weapon are both unfounded. Though this problem doesn't ruin the title, it is a classic example of a Cyberpunk 2077 bug that needs fixing.

Players have also been quick to point out that the grenade launcher arm does very little damage. Aside from the fact that its ammunition doesn't fire, it doesn't devastate enemies like it should. In addition, some gamers have noted that the grenades from the arm launcher sometimes ricochet and end up damaging them. This can be fixed via a technical upgrade, but that doesn't mean it isn't a tedious gameplay element. And, unfortunately, there are no proper Cyberpunk 2077 settings that can be used eliminate the glitches that plague the grenade launcher arm attachment.

Of course, nobody has ever been under the illusion that Cyberpunk 2077 is without fault. But CD Project Red said Cyberpunk sales were up earlier this year and, as new players enter Night City, it's important for them to know that there are some odd quirks present in-game. That being said, the title is an expansive game with lots of missions and a plethora of unique characters. Though it does have its fair share of problems that need to be addressed, there is a lot about Cyberpunk 2077 that players will find entertaining, refreshing, and jaw-dropping in the best possible way.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
