In the world of Cyberpunk 2077, players will have plenty of options and ways to further upgrade and customize their characters. World drops, rewards, and crafting will present players with new upgrade parts fairly often, though the most reliable and common way to customize their V is to visit one of the many Ripperdocs located around Night City.

According to the Cyberpunk Universe, Ripperdocs are seen as doctors of sorts, selling and installing all kinds of cybernetic prosthetics. Most operate legally and in compliance with the laws, but since this is Night City, there are more than a few that do things a little differently and perhaps under the radar. One shady individual can be found in the Watson District named Charles Bucks.

In the sub-district known as Kabuki, Cyberpunk 2077 players can come across Buck's Clinic just north of Kabuki Plaza. The Ripperdoc has fairly expensive items in stock and the game will let the player question Charles as to wear he managed to secure all of these good items. Charles, becoming visibly nervous, mentions that his suppliers like to remain anonymous and the conversation ends there for now.

Starting in Act 2, players can push this story a big further. Players can return to the shop and start looking around eventually finding a locked door towards the back. With the right augments, players can remotely hack the door, though for players who may not have enough intelligence needed to open the locked door, they can simply head back outside to the back of the building. Players will discover a loading dock there and the local Fixer, likely Regina Jones, will inform V of a laptop belonging to a missing person named Alois.

From the loading dock, head through the open doors but be prepared for a fight as members of Maelstrom have taken up residence on the second floor, operating a human chop shop. Once the Scavs are taken care of, players should look for a laptop that contains messages between Charles and the Maelstrom gang confirming his involvement with the group. Essentially, Maelstrom harvests the cybernetic gear from the bodies and give it to Charles to sell.

Armed with this knowledge, players can head back to the Watson Ripperdoc through a connecting room and confront him with the information. Charles will begin to stammer from being nervous and attempting to convince the player that he was forced into it. Armed with the knowledge from the message, players can further push Charles by telling him they found the laptop. At this point, players can ignore everything and nothing will change or they could refuse a bribe and kill Charles, which would simply remove a vendor from the game.

However, if players decide to accept Charles' bribe and look the other way, they'll get a 20% discount on his entire inventory. While Charles sells many items that other Ripperdocs do as well as his own unique and exclusive gear, his stock will be considerably cheaper thanks to the 20% discount. Ultimately, this can save players tons of Eurodollars over the course of the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One. It will release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021.
