Despite being delayed until November 19, the hype for Cyberpunk 2077 is only growing. The recent Night City Wire event provided plenty of new announcements and gameplay footage for Cyberpunk 2077 fans to delve into, but they seem to have only scratched the surface of what's still to come for the highly anticipated game.

This past Thursday the first livestream of Night City Wire gave players an in-depth look at Cyberpunk 2077. A new trailer revealed some Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay segments and an intriguing narrative as well as some more details about the huge world the team at CD Projekt Red have been building. Select press outlets have since been granted access to play Cyberpunk 2077's prologue, which lasts roughly 5 hours and has three alternate openings.

This has lead to an influx of new gameplay footage being circulated. A new video from YouTuber Parris has revealed a 25 minute gameplay supercut from the prologue of Cyberpunk 2077. Most of the footage was revealed in flashes during the most recent trailer but the video shows entire sequences of new gameplay including car chases, stealth takedowns, melee combat, and extended cutscenes.

There are some standouts from the new footage like protagonist V's vehicle, which has a subtle nod to Witcher 3, as well as some incredible aerial cutscenes over the futuristic landscape of Night City. The entirety of the braindance feature teased during the Nighty City Wire stream is also shown here, which gives players the ability to virtually scrub through someone else's memories. There's even a mention of Keanu Reeves' mysterious character Johnny Silverhand, as a specialty drink at the Afterlife bar.

While the in-game footage isn't final, it already looks incredibly slick and with an extra few months for the developers to polish it up, the game can only get better. Cyberpunk 2077 already seems to be one of the most expansive games to hit the market, allowing players to completely customize their character and make different narrative choices that impact the story.

With the recent news that Cyberpunk 2077 will provide a free upgrade to next-gen consoles and that multiplayer features are in the works, excitement is only building for the new game. Fans can expect to learn more during the next Night City Wire episode, which is supposedly being released in the next few weeks.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases November 19th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One with PS5, Stadia, and Xbox Series X versions currently in development.
