Combined with the shockwaves caused by Critical Hits, players can easily handle a room full of enemies with just one melee weapon.

7 Baby Boomer

How to Get: Complete "Dazed and Confused" By Not Letting Lina Read Tool's Letter

Bring out the Lina Malina merch and hit it out of the park with style, as the Baby Boomer is a fast-swinging baseball bat that will have foes reeling from its blunt trauma. The Baby Boomer hits hard, and the more players attack with combos, the more the Crit Chance will stack until it reaches 100%, promising that every swing will provide extra damage to its already stellar blunt capabilities. It's fairly easy to obtain, so long as players sacrifice morals and keep Tool's mind scrambled into thinking he's Lina Malina.

How to Get: Side With Songbird in "Firestarter", Defeat & Loot Albert Murphy

Tough decisions must be made during the Firestarter mission, but if players want to get their hands on Murphy's Law, then they need to side with Songbird and kill Albert Murphy to take hold of his weapon.

Whilst it might not seem like anything special, the fact that it provides a bonus to Bleeding, Stun, and Shock, makes it a competent weapon. The addition of increased attack speed to those who have been knocked down also makes it a great weapon for bullying others.

Machetes can often be violent in the way they hack and slash at the foes of V, and the Volkodav is no exception to this, providing V with a banned Techtronika weapon that is capable of combustion. This weapon is great in hordes, as players can ignite multiple enemies with ease, and see a bonus to Crit Damage for the more enemies that are currently burning, so maybe try this one out the next time enemies overwhelm the player.

4 BFC 9000

Some players might feel left out after dealing with Meredith Stout, and realizing that they're never going to get their hands on Sir John Phallustiff. Luckily for them, Update 2.1 brought about a secret iconic melee weapon in Cyberpunk 2077, and everyone can get their hands on the BFC 9000, which stands for something too rude to say.

The weapon itself is comedic in the fact it vibrates, has extended range thanks to its length, and of course, has a 69% increase in Crit Chance and attack speed. It's a great counter to Sir John Phallustiff and definitely provides some inappropriate giggles.

3 Gwynbleidd

Those who own The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt can receive an amazing reward for one of the best melee weapons in Cyberpunk 2077. The Gwynbleidd looks like it was dropped by Ciri herself as she crosses universes, and it should be adored by V, who can expect a 10% increase in damage output against boss enemies, which works very well for those who enjoy getting a close-up. Players don't just have to rely on the boss perk, as the iconic modifier also allows for extended damage when killing 2 or more enemies. It's a great weapon for those who love to fight and won't stop even when their health is critically below 25%, as they see this blood loss as a reward for more violence.

2 Crowbar

Embrace the inner Gordon Freeman with the trusty crowbar, a weapon that can only be acquired once, and through a specific path of play. Players must side with Solomon Reed, and they must have 20 Body points in order to open a locked door. Doing so, players can find the Crowbar, and enjoy its severely dangerous swing speed. Players might be disappointed by its reduced damage output, but the fact players can hit without stopping between light-attacks, makes it well worth it, but the addition of stamina drain might make some players want to skip this one unless they're keen fans of Half-Life or brutal blunt weapons.

Battle against the leader of Dogtown himself, Kurt Hansen, and receive the Fang throwable knife as a reward, a great weapon in the right hands. Kurt Hansen is a brutal soldier, and a cunning leader who fights with tactical brawn, and players can possess those skills by using his knife. Players can slash their targets for an increase of 33% damage, but only when they are slowed from a knife throw. Throwing this knife is always a smart idea, as it effectively traps enemies, forcing them to remain an unwilling target.
