There's a wide selection of gear and weapons for Cyberpunk 2077  players to obtain throughout Night City. Unfortunately, the best of the best doesn't come cheap, calling for lengthy grinding sessions. However, this doesn't have to always be the case, thanks to a Cyberpunk 2077 player's recent discovery.

CD Projekt Red's long-awaited RPG officially released last week after eight years of development. Although many PS4 and Xbox One players have complained about buggy performance, the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 has set the record of the fastest-selling PC game ever.

Head to a Drop Point

From game-changing implants to lethal futuristic firearms, Night City contains quite the array of highly sought after items. Obviously, the high price tag these come with means players getting the top items is few and far between - until now. While Cyberpunk 2077's money glitch exploits aren't anything new to the game, this latest trick is the best yet, allowing players to infinitely duplicate any items. This means players can collect multiple copies of Cyberware, Legendary weapons, and crafting materials. YouTube channel TagBackTV has posted the necessary steps to make V rich beyond their wildest dreams. In order to duplicate items, players will need to stick to these specific steps:

  • Save the game first.
  • Head to any Drop Point.
  • Sell the Untitled 18 painting and one of each item players wish to duplicate.
  • Exit out of the Drop Point
  • Head back over to the Drop Point, then hit the options and sell button at the same time.

Duplicate Any Items

Players who've done this correctly should see that the Drop Point's sell screen is now transparent. The Drop Point itself will be visible behind it, where players will be able to start duplicating items. In order to do this, follow these instructions:

  • Repurchase all of the Untitled 18 paintings
  • Repurchase all previously sold items (this step costs money, obviously)
  • Sell the duplicated paintings to farm Eddies

And it's as simple as that. Players can use this method to essentially get unlimited amounts of any item. This is by far one the most advantageous glitches recently found in the game. The item cloning comes in handy with how crafting materials work. Even when players do manage to hunt down the elusive components, there's often a need for multiple to complete a higher-end build. Additionally, the single-use nature of mods that normally require a thought-out commitment can now be used more liberally.

While there are apparently millions who are discovering Cyberpunk 2077, there have been what sounds like thousands of glitches as well. While some have been downright game-breaking, there have been plenty of hilariously random ones, like a car pulling a John Cena move on a random NPC. Players should take advantage of this particular item glitch before CD Projekt Red patches it for good.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions coming in 2021.
