Cyberpunk 2077 fans who played and enjoyed Detroit: Become Human may be excited to hear that the two games will be sharing two important voice actors. Bryan Dechart, who voiced Connor in DBH and Amelia Rose Blaire, who voiced Traci in the same game, recently announced that they will be joining the voice cast for Cyberpunk 2077, which releases next month.

Both Cyberpunk 2077 and Detroit: Become Human are sci-fi games that could be said to fall into the "cyberpunk" genre, incorporating themes of freedom/autonomy vs order and featuring technological gadgets and robots. Detroit: Become Human follows three androids and their battles over android sentience and servitude, while Cyberpunk 2077 is in a similarly futuristic setting but is open-world while remaining story-driven, and follows a single customizable mercenary called V.

As many fans already know, Keanu Reeves will be in Cyberpunk 2077, and in a pretty major role too. Cyberpunk 2077 is really packing the celebrities into its voice cast, and will also feature singer Grimes, partner of tech entrepreneur Elon Musk, and actors like Samuel Barnett and Erika Ishii. With the newly-announced addition of Bryan Dechart and Amelia Rose Blaire, CD Projekt Red is not just adding in more accomplished and well-known VAs to its cast, but is cementing in the connection between Cyberpunk 2077 and another popular sci-fi game.

Dechart and Blaire are married and share a joint Twitch channel where they announced they'd be acting in Cyberpunk 2077. They also shared a screenshot of their characters, a talking vending machine and a woman wearing leopard-print tights. They also announced their intention to stream the game upon its release. CD Projekt Red confirmed that the VAs' characters will feature in a side quest, one of the many intricate parts of the fleshed-out and detailed game Cyberpunk 2077 is promising to be.

Apparently, the couple got in touch with CD Project Red during E3 2019, where Cyberpunk 2077 got a ton of hype. Since the game's reveal, Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed multiple times, although fans hope that this means they'll just be getting a more detailed and robust product when the game is finally available.

Multiple devs at CD Projekt Red expressed their excitement and support for the Detroit: Become Human voice actors getting to play roles in the game. Although Dechart in particular played a much bigger role in Detroit: Become Human (his character, Connor, was one of the main characters), many fans of that game will no doubt be excited to encounter his and Blaire's side quest. Hopefully, people will get more info and sneak peeks of Cyberpunk 2077 as the release date draws closer.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases November 18, 2020, for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One. Xbox Series X and PS5 versions are slated for 2021.
