To say that Cyberpunk 2077 experienced a difficult launch would perhaps be a bit of an understatement. The game's poor performance on PS4 and Xbox One led to countless refund requests and Sony taking the unprecedented step of pulling the game from the PlayStation Store. Even despite the numerous patches that have arrived in the months since, Cyberpunk 2077 has still not returned to the PlayStation Store, nor have the issues with glitches and bugs been fully resolved.

Although there are one or two game-breaking bugs, though, the majority of glitches in Cyberpunk 2077 are fairly harmless and, to many, a great source of entertainment. That was perhaps the case once more when a Reddit user experienced a rather interesting bug which led to one of the game's NPCs following them around indefinitely after the completion of a gig.

During the "Going Away Party" gig that is handed out by El Capitan during the early stages of Cyberpunk 2077, players are tasked with rescuing a character named Flavio dos Santos from a 6th Street hideout. He's supposed to stop following the player upon completion of the gig, but, more than 30 hours of playtime after doing so, Reddit user carrota1 is still being accompanied by Flavio; and the results are pretty hilarious.

The Redditor shared a video compiling clips of Flavio's antics, which includes the NPC walking around underwater and hanging out in the background of various cutscenes. Perhaps the most humorous part of the video, however, is when the player is attempting to get busy with Judy and Flavio repeatedly attempts to enter the room. Apparently, he does disappear from time to time, although, much like a bad penny, he just keeps on turning up.

This isn't the only recently discovered glitch that provides players with a makeshift companion character either. Just last week, another Redditor figured out how to get Yunobo to follow Link everywhere in Breath of the Wild, although the results of that glitch are perhaps not quite as funny as this one. Arguably, few games can really match Cyberpunk 2077 when it comes to comical bugs and glitches, although CD Projekt Red will be hoping to change that fairly quickly.

The developer recently released update patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 and, while it does seem to have fixed some of the many bugs that had been blighting the game, there are reports that it also caused quite a few new ones in the process. The update doesn't seem to have addressed this one either, as carrota1 confirms that Flavio is still following them around post update; suggesting that CDPR still has quite a bit of work to do.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions coming later in 2021.
