Cyberpunk 2077 may be the biggest game of the year, with hype levels unmatched by most. As exciting as it has been for the gaming community leading up to the release of the game, it was likely even more exhilarating for streamer Cohh Carnage, as he is actually an NPC character inside of Cyberpunk 2077.

During a recent stream of CD Projekt Red's massive RPG, Cohh Carnage came across a particularly interesting character named Garry the Prophet. The NPC spends his time screaming out to the crowd about the dangers of technology and surgical implants. But for Cohh Carange, who is an influential Twitch streamer, this NPC is important, because it is him.

Cohh Carnage's likeness and voice are used for Garry the Prophet, and seeing Cohh Carnage's face while streaming directly next to the NPC that is made to look like him is quite amusing. It is clear that Cohh Carnage enjoys this opportunity, as he had a stunned silence about him for part of the video. Cohh Carnage is certainly not the only real-life person to be in the game, as even Hideo Kojima has a cameo in Cyberpunk 2077.

It must be very surreal to see one's self inside of a game, so Cohh Carnage's moment is quite wholesome. The streamer goes on to start to discuss his opportunity, and how he is in the game. However, multiple times he stopped himself by saying "I can talk about this now, I guess I can," as he was unsure of whether or not he was allowed to discuss some secrets of Cyberpunk 2077. Cohh Carnage talked for a moment about an event that was going to take place with his Garry the Prophet character, however, the streamer came to his senses and realized that that moment is still yet to come, so he did not explain in an attempt to not spoil the moment.

Cohh Carnage, who signed an exclusive deal with Twitch, is quite giddy about seeing himself in-game, laughing out loud at the fact that he can hear his character ranting even from a distance. The streamer notes that CD Projekt Red worked some magic with his voice acting, claiming that his version sounded much worse. His viewers very much enjoyed it in the chat, and his tease seems to implicate that more fun with Garry the Prophet is on the way.

Cyberpunk 2077's lifepath and character creation tools are impressive, with players being able to make the protagonist of the adventure look very similar to themselves. However, there is something special about being put into the game by the developers. In the days and weeks to come, it is likely that many more cameos will be revealed.

Cyberpunk 2077 launches December 10 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions coming in 2021.
