CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 was easily one of the most-hyped video game releases last year. There was a great deal of anticipation for the open world RPG, and for good reason. Cyberpunk 2077 looked impressive in pre-release videos, plus CD Projekt Red has earned a reputation for delivering high quality video games. Unfortunately, Cyberpunk 2077 released in an unfinished state, with the game suffering from numerous technical problems and other issues.

Considering all of the Cyberpunk 2077 glitches that still persist in the game to this day, one couldn't be blamed if they took advantage of the refunds that were offered for the game back at its launch. And one also couldn't be blamed if they decided to skip buying Cyberpunk 2077 outright after hearing about its problems, as $59.99 is a steep asking price for a game with that many issues.

However, people might be more inclined to purchase Cyberpunk 2077 for just $10, which is comparably dirt cheap. Even with its troubles, $10 for Cyberpunk 2077 is a steal, and there's a Black Friday deal going on at Target right now that lets gamers buy the game for that price.

While Cyberpunk 2077 may not be in quite a state that fans would like, the game has still been vastly improved compared to how it launched, and it should only be uphill from here. Cyberpunk 2077 updates coming in 2022 aim to make the game even better, with new expansions in the works as well. Not only that, but 2022 will see the launch of the next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 as well.

When Cyberpunk 2077 launched, the general consensus was that the game was much better when running on a high-end PC compared to its console counterparts. Considering this, there are high hopes for the next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 to be a much improved experience, and luckily, the next-gen upgrade is free. So someone could take advantage of this deal, buy the PS4 or Xbox One version of Cyberpunk 2077 for $10, then wait until the native PS5 or Xbox Series X version drops and play it at no additional cost.

It's unclear exactly when Cyberpunk 2077's next-gen release is coming, however. CD Projekt Red delayed Cyberpunk 2077's PS5 and Xbox Series X port, along with its planned updates, to undetermined points next year. Hopefully more information on that front comes sooner rather than later.

Cyberpunk 2077 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
