Gamers still get excited whenever they dress their players and marvel at the amazing job that the costume designers did on both the protagonists of Cyberpunk 2077 and on the NPCs. These are some of the best outfits that the NPCs wear in the game.
9 Meredith Stout
Early in the game, the fans have the chance to meet the tough character of Meredith Stout. Depending on the path they choose, they can even have a little romance with her later in the game, but that doesn’t seem like an option in the beginning.
Stout works for Militech, and she is a Senior Operations Manager as well as a Corporate Agent, so her outfit is as corpo as it gets. But it’s not just any corporate suit – it shows her qualities as a person too. It is an elegant, no-nonsense suit, that doesn’t let anyone doubt she means business.
8 Rogue
Players keep falling in love with Rogue’s character left and right, and it is easy to see why: apart from her loyalty to Johnny, Rogue is simply one of the best renegade characters ever. There is a chance to romance her in the game, but not exactly as V, so a lot of people chose not to do that.
What no one can miss though, is how cool her outfits are, both when the players see her as young and especially as the older version of her, with the bright yellow sweatshirt that reads “survive” – which can be interpreted as a secret little message.
7 River Ward
River Ward is part of one of the moments in the game that made fans cry since the quests he participates in with V are - to say the least - terrifyingly messed up.
What didn’t make fans cry though, is his sense of style. His necklace and earing are two things that show his pretty-boy side, while the fur coat and the red color of his shirt make him a man who might care for his appearance but can be as wild as anything if the situation calls for it.
6 Evelyn Parker
Evelyn is such a vibrant and extraordinary character, that it doesn’t come as a surprise when fans choose her to cosplay. From top to toe, her appearance screams: “Beware, or else…”, and it is one of the things that is so very attractive about her. Blue electric hair, purple fur on her shiny coat, a glittering silver dress, and, of course, the cigarette that seems always to be in her hand.
Evelyn seems to be all about business, until the player starts to learn her secrets, and then her stern demeanor is suddenly understood as a shield she uses to protect herself.
5 Panam Palmer
Panam is one of the reasons the people who play as a female V want to turn and play as a male V, as this is the only way to romance her. She is stunning, inside and out, but her sweet face might make people think she is not as tough as some others. Big mistake.
Panam is associated with the Aldecaldos nomad tribe, and it is clear that she had learned a lot from them, but also that she was too much for them. Her outfit shows an unassuming sexiness but also a readiness to fight and, if needed, flee.
4 Kerry Eurodyne
Kerry comes late in the game, but almost instantly becomes one of the most likable characters in the game. This handsome musician and former member of Samurai might live a life that’s disconnected from any feelings, but he shows how much he still cares as soon as he meets V and learns about Johnny.
His outfits when he was young were cool and rebellious, but as a grown man, his outfits show how much he has tried to toughen up and protect himself from all the hurt in his past.
3 Maiko
Maiko might play a smaller role than some other NPCs, but she comes at a time in the game when the player has to make tough decisions.
But the reason she becomes memorable goes deeper. Maiko might use Judy for her personal gain, but her ruthless manners and her impeccable outfit also stay with the player long after they see her for the last time.
2 Hanako Arasaka
The player can expect Hanako Arasaka to be a lot of things, but what they don’t expect is to like or sympathize with her. There are many truths about Hanako that are well-hidden, but her calm demeanor is not one of them.
Another one that can’t be hidden is how well-dressed and careful she is about her appearance. Just the fact that she wears an all-white dress in a game where either black or colorful outfits are the norm, Hanako stands out.
1 Fingers
Fingers, the ripperdoc, might not be especially (or at all) a likable character – in fact, many players choose to kill him after the main Cyberpunk 2077 story that involves him – but he is a skilled ripperdoc nonetheless.
His outfit is just as outrageous as his character, but it’s not all true. He wants to show his wild side, but the player can see how truly scared he is, especially when he is threatened.
