Cyberpunk 2077 is just two months away but 2020's biggest release is aiming to be more than just a prominent sendoff to the eighth generation. With the immense budget behind Cyberpunk 2077, developer CD Projekt Red is going above and beyond to integrate real-world names into Night City.

CD Projekt Red has announced that the next celebrity influencer to step into the dystopian setting of Cyberpunk 2077 is a well-regarded face of the gaming community. Alanah Pearce, YouTuber and former video game journalist, confirmed that she will be joining the cast by not only providing her voice to a character, but her likeness too.

Pearce tweeted the announcement yesterday just 24 hours before tonight' stream of Night City Wire's third episode. Pearce followed up her initial tweet by giving fans some direction on how to find her character. While Pearce was tight lipped on the story behind her yet-to-be-named character, she did say that she is part of the Nomad quest line.

Pearce also uploaded a video following her screenshot reveal going into a bit more depth about how this came to be.  She indicates that her cameo has been a long time in the making as Pearce mentions her previous acknowledgements to bias in talking about Cyberpunk 2077.  She confirms her first Cyberpunk 2077 recording session was in 2019 following her previous voice roles in Gears 5 and After Party.

As mentioned, Pearce is just one of the confirmed cameos that will be within the giant world of Cyberpunk 2077. Other YouTube personalities that will be in the game include Jesse Cox and Cohh Carnage. Beyond just these smaller cameos, Cyberpunk 2077 has a stellar cast of voice actors and Hollywood talent to flesh out the world. With so many little nods within the game, some fans are hoping series creator Mike Pondsmith also gets immortalized within Cyberpunk 2077.

While fans might just catch a glimpse of Pearce within the upcoming Night City Wire stream, CD Projekt Red has added another big reason for players to tune in. The developer confirmed that in tonight's stream, Cyberpunk 2077's PC Requirements will be revealed. With many gamers upgrading their PCs with the recent release of NVIDIA's new 3080 GPUs, fans are eager to see if they can push the game to the max.

So with only two months left until Cyberpunk 2077's seven-year development finally culminates with its release, its possible a few more cameos are revealed. Even when the game comes out, there are likely to be a lot of easter eggs for sharped eyed players.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on November 19, 2020, for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and will release later for the PS5, Stadia, and Xbox Series X.
