With Cyberpunk 2077 set to release on December 10, a substantial number of players have decided to book themselves time off work to play CD Projekt Red's latest RPG, and for good reason. Not only does 2077 look to be one of the most ambitious games the studio has created to date, but it also seems like it's going to be a meaty experience, boasting a sprawling city to explore and hundreds of quests to complete.

If fans needed any more reminding that Cyberpunk 2077 will likely be in their disc trays for a good chunk of time once it launches next month, the game's QA Lead Łukasz Babiel took to Twitter to reveal just how long he's spent wandering the streets of Night City. According to the dev's save profile, he currently has over 175 hours clocked in the game, and that's allegedly without even rolling credits.

When asked whether the playthrough was a completionist run, Babiel shockingly responded with a no, claiming that the save file in question is "just one of [his] ongoing slow-paced playthroughs on the hardest difficulty." According to the QA Lead, the character on the profile is stealth-based, and he's taking the time to ensure he's looting locations fully and using "every feature the game has to offer." One fan went on to ask him if he was done with everything on the profile, once again prompting the dev to answer with a resounding "nope."

It seems Cyberpunk 2077 will well and truly be a huge experience, boasting hours of gameplay, a wide variety of quests to complete, and a large open-world to explore. That being said, it seems Babiel's lengthy playthrough is due to the developer taking extra time to explore the game, meaning those put off by the near 200-hour save file shouldn't be too concerned. Speaking on the subject back in September, CD Projekt Red Senior Quest Designer Patrick Mills told Twitch Streamer CohhCarnage that Cyberpunk 2077's main quest would be shorter than the Witcher 3's to prevent players from clocking out before the credits.

Due to the game's imminent release date, CD Projekt Red released the last in its long-line of Night City Wire broadcasts last week, revealing tons of new information on Johnny Silverhand and an expansive gameplay trailer. The latter showed off some new combat, fresh characters, and a better overview of the story, offering a fitting final look at the game before it hits shelves early next month.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia on December 10, with enhanced PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X ports coming next year.
