Revealed by a nearly two-minute long trailer, the Cuphead: The Delicous Last Course DLC trailer features a period-appropriate trailer of Cuphead, Mugman, and the newly playable Miss Chalice character heading to D.L.C. Island, a "previously undiscovered" Inkwell Isle. The trailer promises more imaginative adversaries and environments for players to wallop, ranging from a massive Yeti in snowy mountains, to western plains with a literal cow-boy named Sheriff Winchester. The Cuphead DLC trailer also hints at new power-ups, courtesy of Chef Saltbaker. The trailer finally reveals Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course is launching on June 30, 2022.

The official hard release date of Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course finally ends years of waiting for fans. The additional content was first announced at E3 back in 2018 with a teaser trailer showcasing Miss Chalice. While initially expected to arrive sometime in 2019, the DLC was delayed into 2020. Studio MDHR remained largely silent over the course of that year, eventually announcing the Cuphead content expansion wouldn't be ready until 2021. With an exact release date established, and a slew of all-new content featured in the trailer, it looks like the DLC is finally going to happen.
