One of the best parts of running a thriving community in Cult of the Lamb is seeing all the little happy-go-lucky Cultists running around, tending to the farms, and worshipping their benevolent (or sometimes wicked) leader. This gets even more entertaining when players realize they have the power to transform the look and style of each and every Follower they encounter and recruit (even the mini-bosses). The Lamb will unlock a variety of these new and adorable Follower Forms as they make their way through various Crusades and hub areas.

But there are some Follower Forms that a much more involved to unlock, with a few being outright hidden or gated behind strange puzzles or quests that players won't see immediately on the surface. Those that don't explore every nook and cranny of Cult of the Lamb will have a hard time finding all the available skins, especially when it comes to the Monster Follower Form. This particular form is uncovered by some fairly unconventional means. Here's how players can find and unlock the Monster Follower Form in Cult of the Lamb.

How To Find The Mad Monster Follower Form

To find the Mad Monster Follower form in Cult of the Lamb, players will first have to run into a specific encounter while Crusading. If players keep an eye out for a Shop Icon (specifically one that appears to have fruit and vegetable icons on it) they should eventually run into a merchant Shrimp known as Rakshasa. The chef can always be seen with three ingredient-based offerings as well as his massive Snail wife (only while players are Crusading).

Once players find Rakshasa, they'll want to begin attacking and swiping at the large Snail behind him. This will cause the chef to get irate, and doing it enough will cause him to outright attack players. Although he's not particularly powerful, he is a bit tanky, and his defense can catch players off guard. He moves around quite a bit, so the Lamb will need to keep their distance and watch for his movement before sliding in to strike. After Rakshasa is defeated, he will agree to continue serving the Lamb (out of fear) and will also reward the player with the Monster Statue decoration.

From there, players simply need to head back to their cult and use the crafting table to build the Monster Statue decoration. It can be placed anywhere in the cult, but only one can be built. After players successfully build the statue, they will be given a prompt to pray at it, when standing in front of it. Once the prayer is finished, the Lamb will receive the Monster Follower Form.
