The recent bout of Crysis 2 content isn't quite done yet as EA has released a new trailer of the game running on the PS3. This follows closely after a brand new story trailer released yesterday that focused on Prophet and what happened to him after the events of the first Crysis.

The PS3 trailer shows Alkatraz climbing through a wrecked city, sniping enemies, and taking out an enemy flyer. If you weren't yet convinced that this game will look incredible even in the console versions, this video might just do the trick for you.

The trailer claims that a multiplayer demo will be hitting the PS3 soon, which should eventually accompany a multiplayer demo that will go live for the PC version of the game on March 1, 2011.

The PC multiplayer demo has been revealed to include 6v6 multiplayer on two maps, Skyline and Pier 17, both of which are  set in war-torn Manhattan. The multiplayer demo will also include two modes for the multiplayer mayhem in the form of Team Instant Action and Crash Site. Team Instant Action will pit teams against each other with the aim to get as many kills as possible, while Crash Site will be a king of the hill style map where teams will capture and defend alien drop pods against the opposing team.

Just yesterday it was revealed that Crysis 2 won't have a co-op mode, but instead will feature a longer campaign to make up for the lack of this now common feature. The lack of co-op is not out of character for the game, since it focuses on a one man army as the core element of the story, but it will still be up for the gaming public to decide whether or not the feature is sorely missed.

Are you as excited for Crysis 2 as we are, or are you skeptical that it will live up to all the hype?

Crysis 2 releases March 22, 2011, and gamers itching to get their hands on a copy of the game will be able to pick one up for either the PC, PS3, or Xbox 360.
