In the blog post, the team also detailed the reworking of the "Digital Mind Wave" or "DMW" system by making it flow faster and more fluidly. According to the team, a new Ability Gauge has also been added into the system, allowing players to prepare for powerful enemy attacks that used to come without warning in the original video game.
It seems the development team has really put in a lot of work to update Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion in order to suit the taste of the current gaming generation. With all of these changes, the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 spin-off seems to really be turning out as more than just a remaster of the original.
