Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion consists of ten chapters and is not a particularly long game even with all the optional side quests that are in the game. Even the dungeon before the final boss isn't very long. Of course, players will have to overcome a few obstacles before they can reach Genesis.
The door that leads to the final boss is locked, and as players explore the Depths of Judgement they will discover chests that contain a strange set of Materia called Goddess Materia. Here are the locations of all seven Goddess Materia along with what they are used for.
Where to Find Light Materia
The first of the Goddess Materia can be found at the start of this area. Before reaching the first save point, look for a chest up on the ridge. This chest contains Light Materia. Despite being referred to as Materia, players cannot equip it.
Where to Find Heaven Materia
From the save point in the middle of Depths of Judgement, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion players should go right and go up the rock ledge. At the end of this ledge is a chest that contains Heaven Materia.
Where to Find Ground Materia
After claiming Heaven Materia, go down the ledge and look to the left for a small tunnel entrance. Walk through the tunnel to find a chest next to a large crystal. This chest contains Ground Materia.
Where to Find Star Materia
Go back through the tunnel and go up toward the south. Go up the rock ledges and walk along the path that overlooks the majority of the Depths of Judgement. Follow this path and approach a chest that is up here that contains Star Materia.
Where to Find Life Materia
While four of the Goddess Materia can be found in the Depths of Judgement, the remaining three can be found in another area called Lake of Oblivion. After entering the Lake of Oblivion, look toward the right to spot a chest that contains Life Materia.
Where to Find Being Materia
While exploring the Lake of Oblivion, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion players should look toward the middle of the area. Being Materia can be found inside a chest in this part of Lake of Oblivion.
Where to Find Sabbath Materia
The seventh and final piece of the Goddess Materia set is nearby the save point in Lake of Oblivion and the closed off entrance to the Cage of Binding. Turn around and move toward the small alcove that is to the right of the save point on the map. In this small alcove is a chest that contains Sabbath Materia.
What to do With the Goddess Materia
Once all seven Goddess Materia have been found, go to the Portal of Severance where the locked door and a pedestal are located. Approach the pedestal and interact with it. If players have all the Goddess Materia, they will be given the option to insert it. Upon doing so, the door opens and players will have to fight a mini-boss. From there, the path to the final boss and end of the game are open. Since this is the end, players should make sure to prepare and stock up on anything they need from the shops.
