The upcoming action RPG Cris Tales has unveiled a Collector's Edition bundle of the game and limited edition items via Maximum Games Store, though the official release date is still unknown.

At 2019's E3 event, Cris Tales became one of the most highly anticipated indie RPGs after being nominated for the Game of Show and Best RPG awards. It was initially slated for a November 17, 2020 release and has free demos currently available, but Cris Tales was unfortunately delayed to this year due to its development taking longer than expected, possibly thwarted by Covid-19 restrictions. Now, no official release date has been set, but the announcement of the Collector's Edition could mean good news to come.

The Collector's Edition bundle of the upcoming indie game will include a 60-page art book, a Matias plush, 4 enamel pins of characters in the game, 3 stickers, 2 art prints, a peek-a-boo game sleeve, digital downloads of several official wallpapers and character avatars, and of course the Cris Tales game itself. As with all retail versions of Cris Tales, the Collector's Edition will also include an art poster inside the game's case.

Cris Tales' Collector Edition will only be made in "very limited" quantities, according to the store page, and unfortunately, shipping for this bundle is only currently available to players shipping to a US address. The Collector's Edition is currently listed on the Maximum Games Store for preorder.

The upcoming Cris Tales is a love letter to the JRPG genre, heavily inspired by games like Chrono TriggerFinal Fantasy 4 and 6, and the Super Mario games.

Cris Tales is currently in development for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
