Since its release back in June 2017, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has managed to become quite the hit with current generation console gamers, as the compendium of remastered titles has been a sales boon with over 2.5 million units sold worldwide. Now, though, it looks as if the collection could be making the leap from PlayStation 4 and onto the PC platform – that is, if recent comments from a licensing manager at GB eye are accurate.

According to a recent interview between the trade magazine Licensing Source Book Europe and Max Arguile, a manager of the licensed gift manufacturer and distributor, GB eye, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be making its way onto PC at some point in the future. As stated by Arguile, "The new game was a huge success at retail with no marketing spend. Next year it will be going broader (Switch and PC)."

Arguile's comments regarding Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy were initially published on page 97 of the latest issue of Licensing Source Book Europe, but should one look at the online version today, they will notice that all references to the title coming to PC and Switch have been removed. Thankfully, though, multiple screenshots of the original version have been saved for the sake of posterity, with Activision later stating to the outlet RockPaperShotgun, "We’ve seen the speculation," but it "isn’t something we’ll be commenting on."

Naturally, with no official confirmation from the Crash Bandicoot license holder, Activision, it's important to take the information with a grain of salt, as Arguile could have possibly been sharing incorrect information. Nevertheless, with the details having since been removed, and with the video game publishing titan standing to gain even more revenue by making Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy multi-platform, it's quite possible we will see a port of the remasters make their way onto Nintendo Switch, PC, and possibly even Xbox One at some point in the future.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is available now for PlayStation 4.
