Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Unveils Tomb Wader Gameplay Trailer

Fans of the original Crash Bandicoot games have been amping themselves up for the remastered collection known as Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, and publisher Activision is doing its best to keep gamers entertained through a series of trailers. Now, another trailer has hit, showing off some gameplay from the third Crash game, Crash Bandicoot: Warped.

It's yet another well-remembered level from the original series that has been chosen as subject for a trailer, with the latest Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy video giving players a teasing look at the level Tomb Wader in action. In this level, the heroic marsupial must traverse an ancient Egyptian-themed level, delving deep into a tomb filled with plenty of traps and enemies.

To make things that little bit more challenging, Crash also has to contend with the occasional issue of the tomb flooding around him, leaving him looking for a scant bit of higher ground in order to let the flood flow back away. Those interested in seeing the full gameplay trailer in action can do so via the YouTube clip below.

The trailer marks the first time that gamers have been given a look at how Crash Bandicoot: Warped is looking as a refreshed title. The promise of a gameplay reveal for the third Crash Bandicoot game was initially teased earlier this week, when the official PlayStation Twitter channel asked followers exactly which level from Crash Bandicoot: Warped should be on the receiving end of a gameplay video.

Of course, this is far from the only gameplay trailer that Crash Bandicoot fans have been able to check out of late, with gamers being given plenty of options to have a peek at how this remastered Crash compilation is shaping up. Recently, Activision released an extremely short look at the return of Polar, the polar bear companion who has helped Crash many times over the years.

So far, the title seems to be shaping up nicely, with the gaming community cautiously optimistic after having seen video comparisons of levels such as jetpack level Rock It. Hopefully, the final product will prove to be as impressive as the footage so far has seemed when it launches at the end of next month.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be released on June 30, 2017 for the PS4.
