Playstation 4 owners have been able to enjoy the remastered Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy for quite some time now. While it was confirmed to be coming to other platforms, those who didn't have a PS4 were going to have to wait. Now it seems those gamers will be able to play the game sooner then expected.

Activision, the publisher for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy announced that the release of the collection to other platforms has been moved up. It was initially set to be available for PC, Switch and Xbox One on July 10th, but will now be coming out about 2 weeks earlier on June 29th. While that is still over a month away, fans should be excited that they will be able to play these updated classics earlier than initially thought.

The remaster brought the first three games to current consoles. The collection was very well received by critics, too. Those wondering what we thought of it can check out our review.

PS4 owners have been able to enjoy this collection since last year, so fans of the series who don't own one have been patiently waiting to pick the game up on their platform of choice. There is no doubt this announcement will please those fans, as they have probably been going N. Sane with anticipation to get their hands on the title. Considering the success it has had on PS4, the game should fair the same on other platforms.

Fans of classic PS1 games should also remember that Crash Bandicoot isn't the only series Activision is looking to update for the current generation. The publisher also announced that a collection of remastered Spyro games is in the works, as well. The collection is being called the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy and is currently confirmed for release on PS4 and Xbox One in September. There is no official word on a Switch release, but a Nintendo UK listing showed the title as an upcoming game for that platform, though it hasn't been officially confirmed.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is now available for PS4 and will launch for PC, Switch and Xbox One on June 29th, 2018.
