The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy may be only a few weeks away from launch, but fans are still learning about new features and enhancements to the classic PlayStation platforming trilogy. The latest surprise comes from a new trailer released just in time for E3 that features a familiar face from Crash lore making a big comeback.

Coco, Crash's awesome sister, was first introduced in Crash 2 as a NPC, but later went on to become a fan-favorite playable character in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. The new trailer for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy confirms that this time around, players will be able to take control of Coco in all three games. This feature isn't available from the game's start menu, but is apparently unlocked very early in the campaign.

Here's a look at Coco in action...

The alternate playable character handles just like her brother, so there shouldn't be any mechanical reasons to choose one protagonist over the other. She does come equipped with her own personality, animations, and aesthetics though; so swapping between characters should be a fun addition for fans of the original trilogy... Or anyone who loves a good platforming adventure game and missed this series for the first time around.
