Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is currently available for $44.99 or 25% off its original price of $59.99. It's worth noting that the PlayStation Store's deal is the cheapest out there for the game, so players should take advantage of it while it is still available. This deal is part of the PlayStation Store's Weekly Sale, so it's important to know that the game will revert back to its original price on November 12th.

To the uninitiated, although Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is branded as the fourth in the franchise, it is actually the eighth main game in the series. However, Activision wanted the remakes of the first three Crash Bandicoot games in N.Sane Trilogy to serve as a soft reboot of the franchise, which is why It's About Time is labeled as the fourth. This means that any other game not part of the original trilogy are no longer deemed as canon.
Apart from upgraded visuals, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time introduces new features to the game, like the ability to interchange between Crash and Coco Bandicoot at any point throughout the adventure. Apart from the Bandicoot siblings, the game features other playable characters such as Cortex, Digodile, and Tawna for alternate timeline level.
Each of these playable characters has their own unique playstyle and moves that makes it easier to complete levels and overcome challenging obstacles. Moreover, the game features competitive and cooperative modes that will support two to four local players. The Competitive Bandicoot Battle Mode features two games for players to tackle: Checkpoint Race and Crate Combo.
On the other hand, the Cooperative Pass N. Play mode allows players to work together as they traverse through the game's campaign levels. Additionally, players will be able to play as Crash, Coco, Fake Crash, and Fake Coco, who is making her debut in Crash Bandicoot 4. Meanwhile, a new leak surfaced yesterday that revealed an important detail about Crash Bandicoot 4. According to dataminers, they were able to discover some pretty convincing evidence that just like the N. Sane Trilogy, Crash Bandicoot 4 could also be headed to the Nintendo Switch.
