One of the worst kept secrets in the video game industry right now is the existence of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. There's been a steady stream of leaks about the game for the past few months, and now an industry insider has revealed the date that the long-awaited new Crash Bandicoot game is going to be revealed.

According to Daniel Ahmad, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will be revealed in just a few days, on June 22. It will supposedly be revealed as part of the Summer Game Fest Developer Showcase on that day, which will take place at 11am ET. Needless to say, Crash Bandicoot fans will most certainly want to tune in to the event to get their first look at the game, and maybe even learn of a potential release date.

Thanks to the leaks about Crash Bandicoot 4, we know that it is coming to PS4 and Xbox One (though there are rumors of a Crash 4 PS5 port as well), and what its plot will entail. If the leaks are to be believed, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will see Crash, living in 1998, find a mask named Lani-Loli. This leads Crash on an adventure through time and different dimensions, not unlike the premise of Crash Bandicoot: Warped.

While fans are no doubt excited to get their hands on Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, it may not be the only Crash Bandicoot game on the horizon. A big Activision leak, with a number of claims that have since proven to be true, made the claim that a PvP Crash game is in development as well, along with remasters of some older titles. Specifically, the leak said that Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex is getting a remaster, though no such project has been announced at the time of this writing.

It's unclear if those other rumored Crash Bandicoot projects will ever materialize, but Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is a guarantee. At this point, it's just a matter of waiting for the official announcement from Activision. And if Daniel Ahmad is right, that announcement is just a few days away on June 22, so fans shouldn't have to wait long at all.
