Counter-Strike first started out as a mod, but quickly became a very popular and well known FPS game. Counter-Strike pits terrorist and counter-terrorist against each other to complete objectives. With iconic maps in each game of the series and players performing the same actions almost every game, it is easy to make relatable memes.

10 Accidents Do Happen

While sniping, players are focused on their enemy and any area they can see through the scope. What a sniper definitely is not expecting is for a teammate to run in front of their scope. If the teammate runs by at the wrong time, they can be killed.

This meme can be found on Instagram, posted by @thefatygang. Mistakes do happen when playing games, but it won't stop someone from getting upset. Any player who accidentally kills a teammate can expect a vote kick.

9 Other Team's Guns Are Better

While playing Counter-Strike, players might take an enemy's weapon as a type of trophy. It is also a way to save money at the start of the next round. Depending on what team the player is playing on, they might not be able to get a certain assault rifle or sniper.

Posted by @Drogas.free, this meme shows how many players feel when they see an enemy weapon. Being able to steal an enemy's weapon and using it to kill them the next round is a good feeling.

8 Being Just Too Good

Being good at a game is something few players might get to experience. Playing Counter-Strike and being called a cheater is a satisfying feeling for any player who is so good that it makes people assume that they're cheating. It's one thing to be good, but to be called a cheater is another feeling.

7 1 Vs 1 Stress

Being the last alive on a team isn't too bad. When it turns into you against another player, the stress levels go up so much. It's already bad enough knowing the entire match is watching the battle.

This meme was posted by @dankmemore on Instagram, and is sure to be relatable. If the player fails the 1 vs 1, they are sure to hear a whole lot of yelling when they die.

6 It's Always Lag

When it comes to fighting enemies and losing, the most common reason is because of lag. Whether this is true or not, it will still be blamed for losing a match.

Posted by @gaminggulag on Instagram, any player who sees this meme is sure to pretend to have never done this. Whether we want to admit it or not, we are all guilty of blaming lag at one time.

5 A Very Familiar Place

Dust is one of the most iconic maps in the Counter-Strike series. The map has not changed very much in any of its appearances throughout the series, making it easy to learn the area. That being said, it is likely that players know this map better than any other.

Posted by @sasha.twitter.memes, the meme does have a bit of truth to it. Players are sure to know about where enemies hide, where the best sniping spots are, and which bomb site is used more. Any player could probably recognize Dust right away.

4 Flashed To Death

When defending a point, a flash can change the outcome of the fight. Some players might find themselves dead after the white light disappears. Especially being on the point alone, getting flashed can be the difference between winning or losing a round.

The meme was shared by @xyvana_cs on Instagram. Players who are alone on a point can probably relate to this memer's comedy. Despite trying to attempt to defend the bomb point, dead teammates are sure to get angry and complain about the loss.

3 Focusing On One Bomb Site

Players of Counter-Strike know there are two different bomb sites on most maps. For whatever reason, especially on Dust, the Counter-Terrorist loves to camp at bomb site A. They will stay there, even when being told the Terrorists are going to B.

Posted by @ezone.gg, players are sure to feel the frustration after seeing this meme. Even after hearing the bomb has been planted, some players refuse to go and defuse it. Then after the bomb detonates and the match is lost, the players camping the other bomb site will get mad.

2 Your Headshots Don't Matter

When it comes to certain matches, the amount of headshots or kills the player gets does not matter. One player could kill the entire enemy team, but the person who defuses the bomb will get all the credit.

The meme posted by @csgoflix_ can be very relatable to players who primarily go for kills. Running around the map to kill enemies do not matter, but as soon as someone defuses the bomb the team cheers. It goes to show, playing for the objective can get some positive reactions.

1 The Love/Hate Relationship

Getting mad at a game is normal, but some gamers have an extreme love/hate relationship. Counter-Strike definitely has this, as players will proclaim they absolutely hate the game. As soon as they say this, they will continue playing as if everything is normal.

Another meme posted by @csgoflix_, players are sure to laugh when they see this one. It's one thing to tell friends a game is awful, but it is another to keep playing it. It is almost certain every Counter-Strike player can relate to this meme.
