Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok has re-inspired many Thor fans' hope for the God of Thunder's future. While Loki may have begun as a villain, the Thor franchise has helped to make the God of Mischief as a celebrated character in the MCU. Ragnarok's villain, Hela, may not be on her way to redemption, but she has served as an inspiration to some.

Cosplayers typically gain attention because of how elaborate their costumes are. One cosplayer has shown that in order to pull off a stunning cosplay, there's no need for fabric. Rather than piecing together a look using various forms of fabric, cosplayer "rednamrahC" chose to paint their body to recreate Hela's iconic look.

At first glance, it's nearly impossible to tell that it's paint. Some of the portions appear to be covered in a netted fabric or even a spandex material. The cosplayer has intentionally given the paint this look to make it seem real. In addition to the black paint are a number of solid green lines that mirror those on Hela's original costume.

With the paint, the physical appearance of Hela here is spot on. The hair matches Hela's down to the part at the top of the head. In front of her is a small piece of hair that hangs out of place, making it seem as if Hela is in motion. Around the eyes is Hela's signature dark eyeshadow and eyeliner.

As the Asgardian Goddess of Death, Hela is always wearing dark colors, especially black. The darkness of her hair, the makeup around her eyes, and of course her costume, are part of what makes her such a sinister opponent. After seeing her inaction, she becomes an even more threatening foe to face.

Played by Cate Blanchett, Hela turned Thor and Loki's world upside down. Shortly before his death, Odin reveals that Thor and Loki have an older sister, Hela, that wishes to bring havoc upon Asgard. After Hela's first sighting, it becomes clear why Odin was so willing to keep her secret.

In her emergence and demand for power, Hela made a number of enemies rather quickly. Anyone who sided with her either did so out of fear or because they were dead and are now under her control. Hela's abilities are unique in the world of the MCU. Despite her sour reputation, cosplayer "rednamrahC" decided to recreate the Ragnarok villain. By painting directly on the skin instead of using tangible objects to create the look, "rednamrahC" seems to have used a unique skill to stand out, much like Hela herself.
