In the face of the pandemic, Among Us blossomed in popularity as people under quarantine used it to spend time with friends from far away. One YouTuber, Corpse Husband, was known for playing the game with many other content creators on the platform. After being seen on many of his friend's streams, Corpse has said that he plans on hosting a Twitch stream of his own.

Corpse Husband started his career on YouTube by making videos about creepy stories from real-life, and scary things people have run into on the internet. He has hosted a few streams on YouTube in the past, but with Among Us' increasing popularity, his content shifted to focusing on that almost exclusively as other content creators streamed playing the game with him on Twitch.

Despite only being active on YouTube, Corpse owns his very own Twitch account that he's never streamed on as of yet. Upon checking the account one day, he found it to have almost 900,000 followers to his surprise. On Twitter, he's thanked his fans, saying the number was "so wild," and saying he'll stream on it later this month. Since the tweet was written, the content creator's Twitch followers have gone up to 928k.

The account hasn't been entirely abandoned, though, as he's apparently used it to watch other Twitch streams and be in his friends' chatrooms, namely Sykkuno's. Sykkuno has commented that he was surprised the account was real, thinking the Corpse Husband account in his chat was fake. The date of Corpse's Twitch stream has yet to be revealed, but he's said it will probably be a Just Chatting stream, and fans will need to wait for him to finish his latest songs first.

For fans of Corpse, the stream is more or less rather exciting, as Corpse hasn't streamed since his popularity boomed through streaming with jacksepticeye, Valkyrae, and others. The last stream he had done was on YouTube two years ago, which was another stream of him talking with fans and expressing where his YouTube channel was going to go in the future.

Where Corpse Husband plans to take his budding and hugely popular following on the streaming platform remains to be seen. Where the success of one Twitch stream may lead to many more, there's also a chance that this Twitch stream may be the only time he speaks to his fans in a Just Chatting stream for the next two years. Regardless, it gives something for his fans to look forward to in real-time direct from Corpse Husband himself for later in July.
