A YouTube video reportedly doxxed Corpse Husband and revealed his face. The popular faceless streamer and YouTuber has kept his identity a secret ever since he started creating content online. Only a select few like Valkyrae and Sykkuno have met him in person.Corpse Husband initially made a name on YouTube, where he narrated horror stories with his distinct deep voice. He later caught many people's attention when he started playing Among Us with streamers like Disguised Toast, Valkyrae, and more, which was where more viewers paid attention to his voice and the cool personality he portrayed. Despite his growing popularity in the streaming space, Corpse had to stop due to the immense pressure of entertaining thousands of viewers.RELATED: Kai Cenat Wins Streamer of the Year AwardCorpse has also stated in streams and interviews that he doesn't plan on revealing his identity in the near future, and has felt anxious about people who have tried to pry. Recently, a YouTube video by ShamPee titled "Why Corpse Husband Abandoned his Audience" supposedly revealed the streamer's real name and face. The video garnered over 2 million views before it was taken down in line with YouTube's harassment policy for content that encourages abusive fan behavior, like doxxing. ShamPee also received backlash from Corpse's fans, who called him out for violating the streamer's privacy.

Following the video takedown, ShamPee initially accused "stans" for mass reporting his video, but later admitted his mistake and apologized to Corpse when YouTube explained that he went against its harassment policy. In a reply to one tweet, he said he should've asked his editor to blur out Corpse's face and other personal details.

While ShamPee claimed that the information he shared on his now-deleted video were publicly available, many people didn't seem to appreciate that someone would disrespect Corpse's privacy. There were also many fans who seemed wary of the supposed reveal as they wanted it to come from Corpse himself. Meanwhile, some people expressed that the doxxing incident might just make the streamer more anxious, especially with Twitter trolls already making fun of the alleged face reveal. They also compared it to the reception of Dream's face reveal.

Faceless streamers and YouTubers are not a new phenomenon as many people simply preferred to be anonymous on the internet while gaining a massive following. While some have decided to reveal their identities, others like Corpse have chosen to stay under the radar, which many people have understood and respected. Regardless if a content creator is "faceless" or not, doxxing them might put them in danger.
