Cookie Run Kingdom is filled with a variety of game modes that can be played in exchange for valuable rewards. One of these modes is the Guild Battle, which requires players to be part of one of the player-run guilds in-game.
While it isn't required at any point to join a guild in Cookie Run Kingdom, it is highly recommended due to there being only benefits and no downsides. Activities and rewards await players in addition to the expected social aspect. Gamers not particularly interested in chatting will still find friendship just by logging in, participating in events, and playing consistently.
Updated on January 8th, 2023 by Hodey Johns: While Cookie Run Kingdom is still largely the same game that it was upon release in terms of gameplay, it is definitely not the exact same copy. The game has expanded as the player base has grown. Perhaps the most notable changes have been on the social front. The guild button, process, and prerequisites have all been altered. It's not necessarily harder than it was before, just different. As a result, this guide required an update for the new process. Now gamers should be able to find the guild that is right for them. There is a checklist at the start of this article for players looking to join a guild in just a few seconds.
Joining a Guild
- Clear stage 3-6 (Ginkgoblin Grounds)
- Tap the "Guild" button.
Please note that the guild button itself can change locations. From the world map, it's on the lower left-hand side. In the kingdom, it flips to the lower right-hand side. From here, the process is going to change depending on the guild that players are looking to join. There are three options.
Join A Recommended Guild
The guild button will automatically suggest guilds to gamers not in a guild already. Tap one that looks good, scroll down to find a different one, or hit the refresh button on the upper right-hand side of this menu to get a new batch of guilds generated. Hit the "Join" button to send an application.
Higher-level guilds have higher rewards but often have more demanding requests from their applicants and this standard will likely not change after becoming a member. They'll want to know that every guildmate is going to do well in the new crossover events. Casual gamers should be fine in a lower-level and lightly active guild.
Join A Specific Guild
Players that already know the name of the guild they want to join can tab the toolbar at the top of this menu and type it in. Keep in mind that there are multiple servers and players can only join a guild on the server they play on.
For those who have a friend but don't know the name of the guild their friend is in, click the name of the friend from the friends list. The name of their guild will be displayed just below their name and progress. After joining, friends will be impressed if players have the best charge cookies in their lineup.
Creating A Guild
Players can even create their own guild if they want to take on the responsibility of managing the group for themselves. This costs 500 crystals to do, but this price is only a one-time thing with no further maintenance costs.
There are some choices to make, such as if any player can join or if it is by acceptance only. Also, a logo is in the lower right-hand corner to customize. After making the guild, players should try to unlock the Hall of Ancient Heroes as soon as possible.
