With every other update, Cookie Run Kingdom adds new Cookies to its already huge character roster. With 64 playable Cookies and counting, it's easy for fans to get caught up and confused when it comes to making teams. The fact that there are so many modes in the game from Cookie Run's two lore-stuffed story modes to different PVP arenas only makes this process even difficult as some teams will perform better in some modes than others. For those looking to stay in the game longer, using the best Healer Cookies can go a long way.

While healers are great for refreshing the entire team's HP and keeping players' defenses up, the sad truth is that there are only five specific Healer Cookies in Cookie Run Kingdom. This is in part due to how Support Cookies also do a good job at healing players' teams, sometimes doing better than Healer Cookies themselves. Sometimes, however, a Healer Cookie is best for the team overall, and here are the Cookies that get the job done better than most.

As a descendant of the Vanilla Kingdom, Custard Cookie III is immensely proud of his heritage and often demands to be treated like a king. He is hyperactive and childish and often gets himself into trouble with how he commands respect from his subjects, yet doesn't properly understand what it takes to be king. He's part of the starting party in Cookie Run Kingdom and dwarfs the common healer, Angel Cookie, in terms of stats.

  • 16-second base cooldown
  • Skill Healing: 113.0% of Custard Cookie's ATK; goes up +2.15 every level and is always used on two lower HP characters.
  • Skill Shield: absorbs 10.0% of max HP for 3.0 sec
  • Best Topping: Searing Raspberry

Herb Cookie adores taking care of plants and does his part to keep players' kingdoms beautiful with plenty of flowers around. His skill involves him planting seeds across the battlefield that heal the entire party if they're stood on. He's good friends with Clover Cookie, and as a result, their stats and play styles go hand-in-hand. Using both of them on the same team will create a team full of tenacity as their HP bars remain full almost constantly.

  • 17-second base cooldown
  • Healing: 44.2% of ATK
  • Skill Healing: 9.0% every second when standing over a sprout.
  • Skill takes away all debuff effects
  • Best Topping: Searing Raspberry

This "juice-loving" Cookie runs his own bar and is best known for his wonderful customer service. His loading screen text says that before he opens his shop for the day, he practices his smile in the mirror. Those who enjoy using Custard Cookie III may want to switch to Sparkling Cookie once obtained, even though Sparkling Cookie may take a lot of Cookie Run Kingdom's players' gems to get. He and Vampire Cookie share a hilarious similarity in that both are censored in the English version, considering Vampire Cookie is very obviously drunk on "juice."

  • 13-second base cooldown
  • Skill Healing: 139% of ATK; goes up by 1.8% with every level up and is always used on the two team members with the lowest HP.
  • Skill raises the entire party's critical hit chances by +25% for 7 seconds
  • Best Topping: Swift Chocolate
Cookie Run Kingdom Pure Vanilla Cookie Stats

As the current holder of the title of the best Healer Cookie in Cookie Run Kingdom, Pure Vanilla Cookie is an Ancient Cookie with stats to back up his rarity. However, as tricky as he is to obtain, he is also rather difficult to place in a team as his stats demand proper coverage in order for him to work well in battle.

With the right Cookies by his side, players will find themselves with an unstoppable team. With the wrong Cookies, though, Pure Vanilla will be powerless to change the tide of battle, so fans should create their Cookie Run Kingdom team compositions with him carefully.

  • 19-second base cooldown
  • Healing: 99.4% of ATK; increases by +1.5% every level up
  • Skill shield: absorbs 20.0% of max HP for 3.0 sec
  • Affects the entire party
  • Best Topping: Solid Almond, Swift Chocolate

Other Healing Cookies

Until more Healer Cookies get added to Cookie Run Kingdom, these are the best choices players have at their disposal. However, if players aren't needed specific types of Cookies for things like Bounties or the Tower of Sweet Chaos, there are other options. Plenty of other Cookies have healing stashed away as part of their skillset, some being more optimal than even the Healer Cookies found in the game.

One Support Cookie that makes a great healer is Carrot Cookie, a farmer Cookie who functions the same way as Herb Cookie. There is also Moon Rabbit Cookie, a Defense Cookie that touts a powerful skill using a "healing cake," which restores the entire party's HP as long as an enemy hit by her skill is defeated within 10 seconds. Her skill is even stronger if used against other Cookies, making her a very powerful Cookie in the Kingdom Arena.

Even if players don't want to use these Cookies, a few treasures found in Cookie Run Kingdom can heal and even revive the party over time.

Cookie Run Kingdom is out now on Android and iOS devices.
