Considering that most of you guys (and gals) are gamers, you're probably familiar with console wars as they stand today. But to truly appreciate how we got here, we need to take a trip back to 1976, Nintendo's first foray into electronic gaming, and the first generation of what was known then as the system wars. Unless you live in a video game console museum, you're bound to find some interesting and surprising tidbits in the graphic below. And if your house looks like a video game console museum, make sure you have renters insurance to protect all your stuff.
