A few months removed from the Cuphead episode with Kate Upton, Conan O'Brien's Clueless Gamer segment is back. This time the popular talk show host is playing Middle-earth: Shadow of War with celebrity guest Kumail Nanjiani, which is fitting considering Nanjiani provides the voice for an orc called The Agonizer in the game.

In the new Middle-earth: Shadow of War Clueless Gamer segment, fans have a chance to see Nanjiani's gaming skills as he slays hordes of enemies. Besides combat, players also get a look at some of Shadow of War's exploration elements as well as the revamped Nemesis system.

During the segment, Nanjiani squares off against the character he voices. After this encounter, Conan takes the opportunity to mock Nanjiani's voice work, which doesn't seem to have been altered much in the studio.

Although Conan may poke fun at Nanjiani's voice acting work in Middle-earth: Shadow of War, the comedian is actually building quite the prolific career in the industry. He plays the role of Jarun Tann in Mass Effect: Andromeda, and he also voiced the character Reggie in The Walking Dead: Season Two. Between his video game work and increasing presence in films, Nanjiani's career is reaching new heights.

If Nanjiani's voice work in Middle-earth: Shadow of War is well-received, it could lead to even more video game voice work. After all, Middle-earth: Shadow of War is arguably the biggest game Nanjiani has worked on so far, with the game earning stronger reviews than Mass Effect: Andromeda and having a higher profile than The Walking Dead: Season Two.

Time will tell if Middle-earth: Shadow of War will click with audiences as well as it has critics. It's possible that the game will fail to meet sales expectations thanks to a crowded month of game releases and backlash from its controversial loot box system, but its appearance on Clueless Gamer certainly can't hurt.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War will launch on October 10th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
