While Conan Exiles has been in PC early access and Xbox preview mode for quite some time, a full release date has finally been announced. This new date is the first bit of information considering the future of the title since the game entered the Xbox Preview program on August 16.

The full game releases for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 8, 2018. The PC version will retail at $39.99, and the console versions will retail at $49.99. Also, gamers who pre-order Conan Exiles will receive the Conan’s Royal Armor bonus item. Furthermore, details have been released on the Day One edition, which includes a map of the Exiled Lands and Conan’s Atlantean sword.

A massive Collector’s Edition was also announced and comes with a 15cm Conan the Barbarian figurine, a custom comic book, three soundtracks featuring the in-game music, an artbook, a world map, six digital comic books, and a digital RPG book for the Conan pen and paper role-playing game. For now, there seems to be no word on the price of this alluring Collector’s edition. While considering the benefits, check out the official announcement trailer below:

Another key feature introduced is the addition of new jungle and volcano biomes, following the Frozen North DLC for the game. These new biomes may be a welcomed addition as new ways to play in the Exiled Lands are introduced. Moreover, creative director Joel Bylos stated they are continuing to work “hard on new content and gameplay mechanics” while “squashing bugs and making improvements.” Hopefully, this information means Conan Exiles will have a smooth launch, considering how long the game was in early access and preview mode.

Conan Exiles will launch in a short six months (and may or may not contain full nudity). In the meantime, PC and Xbox gamers may continue to play the game through their respective early access/preview modes, although PlayStation gamers will have to wait for the full launch in May.

Conan Exiles will have its full release for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 8, 2018.
