Admin commands are an all-powerful tool in Conan Exiles. Because of this, only select people can be an admin on a public server. Players who want to enter admin mode might want to finally purchase their own server before continuing.
Owning a server isn't very expensive, but if it is too much to pay, admin commands can always be enjoyed in a private lobby with friends. Admin commands will allow players to reach new areas that they could only dream of, destroy structures they don't like, and even become immortal while they are building the base they want to protect.
How To Access Admin Mode
Admin mode is easy to get into as long as a player knows how. It's also easy to figure out by looking through the menu. First things first, make sure to set a password in the server settings to prevent everyone from gaining access to this powerful tool. Follow these steps to gain access to admin mode.
- Open the in-game menu and then select the settings option.
- Scroll over to the server settings tab.
- In the menu, locate the admin password bar.
- Type in the password if one was created.
- Hit the button that says 'make me admin.'
It's as easy as that to enter admin mode. It's a different story to actually use it.
Admin Panel
The admin panel can be accessed by going back into the in-game menu and selecting the admin panel option from the list. It will now be available since admin mode has been activated. At the bottom of the menu, players can alter the time of day. This is important because it is hard to build in the dead of night.
Next, make sure to activate god mode. It is located near the center of the menu where the other checkmark boxes are. Turning on god mode will prevent the player who's building from getting hurt. Lastly, make sure to activate the fly command. It is located right above the god mode area. This will allow the player to reach new heights and build wherever they see fit.
How To Get Materials
While the left side of the admin panel is all about activating admin cheats, the right side of the screen is dedicated to spawning items. In this menu, a player can find everything they could ever want. This includes weapons, food, armor, and even building materials.
Instead of scrolling through a massive list of items, players can simply select the text box at the top of the menu and type in the item that they want. Once the items that a player wants are found, they can spawn in a full stack of 100 and place it in their inventory. Thanks to the fly cheat, a player won't get weighed down by a large number of materials.

With the ability to fly, players can now build bases without the need of leveling their character and increasing their stamina an immense amount. Flying has other bonuses besides reaching the top of mountains and that is getting a new angle on building. While in third person, players will be able to view every angle of the base they are building. This will help them get building pieces into place without hassle.
Understand The Basics
Players looking to build in admin mode need to understand how admin mode works, but it is more important to understand the basics of building. Planning ahead, understanding shape structure, and remembering limitations are all important things that players need to remember when building a base in general.
Always make sure to build from the ground up when making a base on a mountain. Starting on top of the mountain can wind up causing the base to get misshapen.
Don't Get Carried Away
It is easy to get carried away while in admin mode. After all, any building material can be spawned into the hands of a player. Remember that taking things slow is important. A player can build a smaller base first and easily upgrade after they are happy with it. There is no need to immediately start big and bad. After all, it is easy to mess up.
Master The Art Of Clipping
Admin mode may come with a host of benefits, but one of the biggest is being able to take advantage of higher terrain. Players can take this opportunity to clip building materials into the terrain for supports. Of course, players can do this in a normal building mode, but not to the degree that they can while in admin mode. Using this trick can really help increase the look of a build.
