From t-shirts to limited edition tumblers to signed prints, San Diego Comic-Con is always sure to be full of swag for the hordes of enthusiasts in attendance. The convention center will be full of merchandise to drain the funds of attendees next week, but not everything has a price tag. In addition to the items for sale, the event is also always full of special contests and giveaways that stretch beyond the realm of comics.
This year, Xbox has organized a contest that is sure to lure swarms of video game fans to its gaming lounge.
Xbox will be giving away 20 unique Xbox One consoles at Comic-Con 2014 next week to fans who visit the booth and snap a photo with the limited edition hardware. Halo and Forza Motorsport franchise senior PR manager Rob Semsey revealed on Twitter that both franchises would be receiving the custom paint job treatment, along with 18 other popular properties.

There’s no denying that the Forza skin is sleek and clean, but the Master Chief Collection console might be our favorite. Considering the massive popularity of the flagship title, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar custom Halo console released over the holiday season when the Master Chief Collection launches just a few weeks ahead of the Black Friday shopping craze.
Securing one of the custom consoles won’t be easy, but here’s how to throw your name in the lottery. Interested parties will need to visit the Xbox Gaming Lounge (which can be found in the Manchester Grand Hyatt Seaport Ballroom) and pick out their favorite custom console in the display. Gamers then just need to tweet a photo of the console to @Xbox and include the hashtags #XboxOne and #XboxSweeps. You’ll also want to make sure you are following the Xbox twitter account. After that, cross your fingers and hope for the best.
A full list of the custom consoles can be found at Nerdist, along with details about how fans can win the custom Xbox One that the network created to release alongside the 20 other Comic-Con exclusives. The lengthy list includes hardware inspired by Titanfall, Fable, Sunset Overdrive, Dragon Age, and a dozen others. Check out the full preview below…
