10 Video Games We're Excited to See at Comic-Con 2014
In years past video games have taken a back seat to movies and TV shows at San Diego Comic-Con, but this year promises to put the latest and greatest titles front and center. Granted, there are plenty of high profile 2014 and 2015 releases (most notably Batman: Arkham Knight) skipping out on the geek Mecca, but attendees should have no problem getting their fill. First-look demos, Q&A sessions with developers, and even blockbuster reveals - there should be plenty of those this year.
Here are the 10 video games we are excited to see more of at San Diego Comic-Con 2014:
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
When: Thursday July 24th - 10:00AM to 11:00AM
Where: Room 6A
What To Expect: Developer CD Projekt Red wowed us with their behind closed doors demo at E3 2014 and we expect them to pull off a similar feat at their Comic-Con 2014 panel. Attendees will hear more about this final game in the trilogy, see it played live, and learn more about Dark Horse's upcoming The Witcher graphic novel.
Who Will Be There: Panelists include actors Doug Cockle (Geralt of Rivia, The Witcher franchise), Dark Horse Comics author Paul Tobin (The Witcher House of Glass), Nick McWhorter, CD PROJEKT RED's game developers Damien Monnier and Lukasz Wnek (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt), and Rafal Jaki.
Far Cry 4
When: Thursday July 24th - 3:15PM to 4:15PM
Where: Room 6DE
What To Expect: The Far Cry 4 panel will give attendees insight into how Ubisoft created the game's fictional locale of Kyrat, which included a trip to Nepal with the HBO show VICE. Ubisoft will also crown a winner for their Quest for Everest contest, which sends one lucky fan to the summit of Mt. Everest to play video games.

Where: Room 6BCF
What To Expect: 343 Industries will focus on how they are taking all aspects of Halo 2 (single player and multiplayer) and upgrading them for The Master Chief Collection. They will also share a few extra details about the collection as a whole and should reveal at least one more revamped Halo 2 multiplayer map.

Assassin's Creed Unity
When: Friday July 25th - 2:00PM to 3:00PM

The panel will also include the debut of an animated short inspired by AC Unity and created by Rob Zombie and Tony Moore.
Who Will Be There: Unknown Ubisoft devs, Rob Zombie, and Tony Moore.
When: Friday July 25th - 2:30PM to 3:30PM

When: Saturday July 26th - 2:00PM to 3:00PM

What To Expect: Building on that very brief tease from EA's E3 2014 Press Conference, BioWare will further detail how they plan to build on the Mass Effect lore without Commander Shepard at the helm. Attendees shouldn't expect anything major, but BioWare should be bringing more concept art and tech demos.

Who Will Be There: Unknown BioWare developers.
Although there will be plenty of events and demo opportunities scattered around the Comic-Con floor and downtown San Diego, these are the 10 game-focused events we think will be the most worth attending. Each panel/demo should feature plenty of new information and first-looks at each game in action, and attendees will be able to hear firsthand from the developers working on each game.
However, if you can't make it down to San Diego for Comic-Con 2014 rest assured, the Game Rant team will be out there in full force covering all the big events, including these 10 panels.
