As Call of Duty: Warzone grows in popularity, with over 30 million players in just the first few days, Activision continues to find more ways to expand on the franchise. In-game paid cosmetics are a great way to sell-up a game by creating revenue as opposed to disbanding the player with DLC of guns, weapons, and more.

Tracer packs are one of the newest items in Call of Duty: Warzone that players may see in-game. At a glance, they may seem Star Wars-esque, as beams are seen blasting through the air. But these tracers can be obtained by anyone with some extra cash.

How to Obtain Tracers in Call of Duty: Warzone

As of now, tracers packs can only be acquired by purchasing them in the in-game store within Call of Duty: Warzone. The tracers themselves are purchased in bundles, which is how all items are sold in the Call of Duty store. Each bundle can cost anywhere from 1600 to 2800 CP.

Tracer packs, and most items in the and Warzone store, rotate in and out, so it may be tricky to find the one that players like. An item like the Classic Ghost Bundle will probably stick around for a while, as it includes the Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, but other items in the store change out quickly.

How Many Tracer Packs and How to Attach Them

At the moment, there are four variations of tracer packs in the game: red, blue, green, and pink. One would assume that more are to come in the future. Each tracer pack works with only specific guns, meaning a player can't just equip the blue tracer on an M4A1, Oden, M19, GRAU, etc., so just slapping it on the best loadout for Warzone won't do. Instead, they can be used on the gun they are designed for, for example, the Anime Tracer (pink) can be used on the M19 pistol.

Fans can hope that, in a future battle pass, perhaps tracers will be a part of the package. Season 3 of Modern Warfare is set to begin shortly, so perhaps some fun tracer content will be in the pass. If not, purchasable bundles will continue to be the only way to get these cool colorful bullets moving forward.
