Last September, two new games, Code Vein and The Surge 2, were released for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Bandai Namco's Code Vein is an action role-playing title that is often described as "Dark Souls but anime." On the other hand, The Surge 2 was released by developer Deck 13 and is a third-person action game that serves as a sequel to 2017's The Surge. Both games are currently available right now for 14% off via Green Man Gaming.

Code Vein is set in an open-world, post-apocalyptic dystopian environment. The game features a lengthy story campaign that would take players 30 hours to beat on average. Code Vein is currently available for the PC via Green Man Gaming for $51.59, which is 14% off its list price of $59.99. Soon after the game's release, several controversial mods were made available in Code Vein via Nexus Mods.

The Surge 2 also features an action-packed campaign, which will take players an average of around 20 hours to complete.

Moreover, console players would be happy to know that Amazon is also offering both Code Vein and The Surge 2 at a discount. Code Vein is available for the PS4 and Xbox One for $49.94, so Amazon's deal for Code Vein is slightly cheaper than its PC counterpart offered by Green Man Gaming. On the other hand, The Surge 2 is slightly more expensive on consoles than PC and Amazon is offering the game for the PS4 and Xbox One for $49.94.

Prior to its release last September, Bandai Namco offered a unique promotion for players to get Code Vein. During TwitchCon 2019, the publisher offered Code Vein for free, for those players who would stop by the event and donate blood to the American Red Cross' Blood Drive. This one-day promotion began and ended last September 27.
