Bandai Namco's new action RPG, Code Vein, is out now, and it is filled with challenges that may take certain players quite some time to overcome. Indeed, as fans defeat Code Vein bosses and make their way through its story, they will want to be certain that no progress is lost. This may lead some players to be curious about how to save in Code Vein, and this guide looks to shine some light on this matter.
To note, while Code Vein does feature an autosave function, the game does not automatically save as frequently as some might expect. Unfortunately, this can lead to some frustrating moments where a player has to redo portions of Code Vein's story because they have not properly saved. How to Save in Code Vein
In order to save in Code Vein, players must visit a Mistle, which is also used to do things like level up and teleport. Once a player has reached a Mistle, they should rest at it and then select Save and Return to Title Screen to save their game in Code Vein. While many games give players the option to save and quit from a menu that can be accessed at almost any time, that is not the case with Code Vein, and players will need to get used to using a Mistle if they want to guarantee that their game is saved.
Some players may find this process slightly annoying, as being absolutely certain that the game is saved requires exiting to the title screen. This means that players will need to reload the game anytime that they wish to manually save in Code Vein. That said, going through this is likely to be less irritating than losing progress in the vampire RPG Code Vein.
