With the Hellfire DLC released, players are having more fun than ever before in Code Vein. There are countless enemies to take out, multiplayer co-op, and strong character builds for players to grind for. It's as challenging as any other souls game and has many distinctive qualities that set it apart.

With so much to explore it's easy for players to overlook things and miss important loot that can help them down the line. No one wants to miss a rare item or miss out on finding vestiges while they can so players need to know what to be on the lookout for when going through the Cathedral of the Sacred Blood.

10 The Classic Camera

The Classic Camera

The Classic Camera is useful to help get players trade points, especially with Davis. With only three to find in the game players don't want to miss the one located in the cathedral. It's easy enough to miss it sparkling and head up the stairs so be sure to take the time to spot it out and collect it!

9 The Only Impulse Hammer

Impulse Hammer

Until it is found in the Cathedral of the Sacred Blood, the Impulse Hammer cannot be purchased from Rin Murasame. If players miss it and don't pick it up they simply won't have access to this two-handed hammer with high base damage.

After climbing a tower and unlocking a shortcut back to the entrance, players can exit that section and continue on. If they take a sharp right, they'll find the chest containing the Impulse Hammer. This one even has a small buff compared to ones that can be purchased! If they continue going forward they'll even be able to find a Curious Novelty as well which can be used to obtain trade points.

8 Awake MJ212 Locations

Awake MJ212

With Awake MJ212 being so useful many players choose to farm it, finding some in a level guaranteed is quite useful. There are two such locations in the Cathedral of the Sacred Blood with one being easy to miss. There is a hidden platform that players can drop onto near the mistle to find one with the other up a ladder climb away from grabbing after flipping a switch. These locations are shown in the picture above.

When revisiting the temple there is another way to get Awake MJ212. After being ambushed by a Lost Assasin, players should jump below the path they are one to find an Awake MJ212 next to a Lost corpse.

7 Regeneration Activation Factor

Regeneration Activation Factor

Those not wanting to tangle with a Stone Crusher may have missed an item that could help them the rest of the game. Regen Activation Factor permanently increases how much Regeneration heals by 120! Why miss out on a chance to have more effective items?

This one is quite close to the entrance. Right after entrance Mistle, players heading down the stairs should look for the Stone Crusher next to some glowing vines. They will find the Renegeration Activation Factor is the item they are guarding.

6 +4 Nagimukuro

+4 Nagimukuro

The Nagimukuro is the only two-handed sword that is dexterity-based outside of the Hellfire DLC. This makes it a special weapon that can be used for strong specific builds. Still, it's easy to miss it when trying to rush through the cathedral when revisiting it.

Players will encounter a Female Lost Warrior that drops a Queen Iron. While players can continue to the next room to begin the trial of blood, those that take the time to find and climb the ladder in this room can find the boosted weapon in a chest.

5 Isis Vestige Part E

Isis Vestige Part E

Seeing a vestige on a tower when players can't simply jump to it can be frustrating! Some players may have skipped figuring out how to grab this vestige part to save time but it's quite easy for those with combat skills to acquire.

Players have to head up the stairs that lead to the top of the tower. Along the way, they will have to fight two Female Lost Warriors, a Spiked Female Lost Warrior, and a Stone Crusher. Once they reach the top players can spot the vestige and jump off of a ledge to collect it.

4 Isis Chrome Locations

Isis Chrome Locations

Rin Murasame can use Isis Chrome to imbue Weapons and Blood Veils with lightning properties. Players may not realize they aren't common drops for enemies. One of the few places where players can get them is in the Cathedral of the Sacred Blood so knowing which enemies to not skip over before continuing on is vital.

As players enter two separate indoor areas in the cathedral, they will find Female Lost Warriors to battle. The locations are shown in the picture above. One is alone and two fight together. Each may drop an Isis Chrome to allow players to wield the power of thunder and lighting.

3 +4 Rubellite Piercer

While weaker ones are able to be found or purchased, why not have the best of the best? When players revisit the cathedral, they will have the chance to pick up this uniquely buffed item. After killing the Female Lost Warriors that drop Isis Chrome on the revisit, players can find a chest in the room. It's easily missed for players rushing to get through the cathedral but those that take their time can enjoy the buffed Rubellite.

2 Pure Blood

Pure Blood

Pure Blood is one of the rarest and most powerful items in the game. In fact, players can only carry one at a time! The ability to fully restore all health and ichor can get players out of serious jams. It's easy to get one that is after a cutscene upon revisiting the cathedral, but it's possible to miss the other when going through the first time.

Players must begin the trial of blood. They will have to take down six waves of Stone Crushers, Spiked Female Lost Warriors, and Lost Assasins. Those that survive can find the Pure Blood in a chest inside a nearby room. Those who are particularly skilled won't need to use it as soon as they find it either!

1 Isis Vestige Part A

Isis Vestige Part A

Players wanting to complete Isis Vestige I (and why wouldn't they) will absolutely need Isis Vestige Part A. It eventually helps unlock Vow of Ichor which is useful for Dark Mage builds. It can only be found when players revisit the cathedral so no need to worry about it the first time going through.

After unlocking the door that requires the Ornate Key, players will have to defeat a Rotten Female Lost Warrior. If they don't smash the boxes in the room, however, they will miss out on this precious vestige part. Sometimes it pays to break things!
